Hills Daily Grind is looking for a volunteer that is passionate about working with the community.

Within this role you will

Provide training opportunities for people to develop employment skills Deliver our specifically designed training package to youth within a school environment Deliver community information and referral Support the homeless and people in need through our Kindness Cup program and Support local events across The Hills and Western Sydney

No experience is required. Must be able to volunteer on week days and early mornings are essential. Shifts are typically no more than 4 hours and they can volunteer just one day/shift a week.

Criteria Provide great customers service Describe menu items to customers Maintain clean work areas, utensils and equipment Follow all Health and Hygiene requirement of food handlers Work as part of a team Have fun

HDG is also looking for volunteers who can assist with **Community Engagement **too. A background in any area related to this is a bonus. They would be assisting us at events with "grass-roots" style engagements within the local community. This involves having conversations with customers and providing information and referral where necessary. Engaging our community helps us link the vulnerable with vital community services and support. This role requires a confident personality who has a caring approach to people. Volunteers will still be offered the same barista training as all other volunteers with HDG.
