The PALS program provides a range of activities for primary school aged children to improve their confidence, self-esteem, life and community participation skills. Outgoing friendly people are needed to assist the PALS Co-ordinator and staff. Duties include setting up and packing up rooms, outdoor areas and individual activities, welcoming participants and families, interacting with participants, identify and report any WH&S issues, identify behavioural concerns and report to Co-ordinator if necessary, mentor young people. Attend PALS sessions -Monday 3.00pm to 5.30pm, attend PALS sub committee meetings, attend out of hours events eg Discos, school holiday activities and family days. Need to maintain confidentiality, get on well with children, maintain discipline, work as member of team with staff and other volunteers.
