This is a great opportunity to join the team at ConnectatMagill Op Shop where you can make friends, face new experiences and challenges, gain work experience or meet fun and interesting people. Join us in making a real difference in your community. Proceeds from the shop are used to create and provide programs that have the effect of directly relieving poverty, suffering and social isolation.
Presentation is the key so bring your Creativity and your Style to help us with keeping the shop looking its best. This requires staff to maintain the high standard of tidiness and stylish looks that keeps customers interested and for staff to gain valuable experience in the operations of the retail environment. Plus Customer Service is number one - ensuring customers and staff find the CareWorks Cottage Op Shop experience a pleasant one. Greeting and Assisting customers in a Courteous and Friendly manner followed with a pleasant and efficient transaction at the counter will help all involved to enjoy their time at our Cottage op shop. A certain sensitivity of others is required so volunteers need to be compassionate of other cultures, faiths and abilities. If you would like to be part of an Op Shop that not only prides itself in providing a delightful op shop experience but that creates an environment for staff that is friendly and respectful, then please contact us at CareWorks. ConnectatMagill is a joint project between the Church of Christ Magill and CareWorks which is a not for profit organisation that is dedicated to supporting disadvantaged people and finding solutions to social issues.
