We are looking for volunteers to support our students in our English as another language classes. The lower levels  have basic speaking and listening, but struggle with reading and writing. The higher levels still need support though less so. Many of them are over 40, and have low levels of education in their first language, or come from more repressive education systems. This means that their learning can be slow and they  need  support. A few volunteers in the classroom  means the students get individual help when they need it, and this helps the teacher enormously.. Our volunteers really enjoy the interaction with the students.
