    • National Police Certificate *

    LCLC will undertake a National Police check for each volunteer. Volunteers will be required to provide personal /business referees and their resume.

    Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the level of coverage for volunteers due to various restrictions to ensure they are covered for the roles they will be undertaking.

Legal Literacy Volunteers receive training and support to encourage improved knowledge of the law and timely access to appropriate professional help in their community.

Legal Literacy Volunteers also assist clients to understand and complete forms of all kinds.

The program aims to increase individual and community awareness around everyday legal issues.

Volunteers do not provide legal advice and do not need legal experience.
