As a Nedlands Library Bus Assistant you will pick up clients from their homes in our ten seater van driven by a volunteer bus driver. You will bring them to the Nedlands Library or Mount Claremont Library, help with morning tea and then return them safely home.

Shifts will vary, depending on your availability and you be will be supported by the Library Volunteer Supervisor.

Typical tasks: Assist clients on and off the bus, escort clients to their front doors and into the Library, help clients with their bags, instigate conversation and encourage clients to interact with each other, ensure the clients have a safe and enjoyable experience, set up and pack down morning tea.
