We are looking for more hills area Event Hosts to hold events for members in that area. This role is perfect for university students looking to connect with their wider community, full or part-timers who would like to socialise around work, retirees wishing to broaden their social circles... Anyone!

Are you a Foodie? An Entertainer? A Player? A Dreamer? No matter who you are, you belong at Befriend! Befriend aims to create opportunities for people to form friendships and social networks. We need fun and friendly people to plan and attend small events for our monthly events schedule. Our Event Hosts are the heart of our organisation; we need you!

You can choose something you already do: your favourite cafe on a Saturday morning, a movie on a weeknight, a casual game of frizbee on the weekend. Or, you can try that thing you've always wanted to try, along with (on average) 6-15 other interested people aged between 18 and 70+. Go to an art gallery, try that restaurant you've never got around to trying, check out a museum, park, theatre show... This flexible role can suit anyone, make it what you want it to be! All we ask is you are prepared to welcome people of all types to come along with you. Our members come in all shapes and sizes, your role is to Host a friendly event with a welcoming environment for them to come along to to make some social connections.
