    Our Matchmakers need to be motivated, love cats and understand the challenges facing re-homing shelters.

    Your friendly infectious personality will make you a great asset to our organisation and help build lifelong relationships with visitors to the shelter.

    You will need to be able to concentrate and your attention to detail needs to be focused because you need to complete the adoption paperwork and process payments.

    You will need your own car and open licence and you need to be fit and healthy and be able lift and carry up to 15 kilos.

    Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the level of coverage for volunteers due to various restrictions to ensure they are covered for the roles they will be undertaking.

Just Cats is a re-homing shelter based at Longford. At busy times we have many cats and kittens looking to find a purrfect home.

We are looking for some great pet people who can be matchmakers and help our cats and kittens find this perfect match.

To be a great matchmaker you will need to have a bright outgoing personality, be able to engage with members of the public, ask open honest questions and at times be firm. You will use your initiative to recognise opportunities to build relationships, seek donations and capitalise on our retail products.

Most importantly you will be helping to save a life and build happy families.
