Marketing Consultant - Social Media

Established in 2013, Mood Active is a small, not for profit association based in Sydney. We provide a tailored mental health exercise programs to the support needs of our clients who can choose from a  casual program, 4 week well-being workout or more intense support 8 week 1:1 exercise coaching program.

Participants are typically referred to us by GP’s, psychologists and community organisations and to date, feedback has been very positive. We are currently expanding our operation into greater Sydney.

This role reports to the Marketing Manager and would require approx 2-4 hours a week on average of your time, worked flexibly. Key responsibilities would include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create quarterly calendar for suggested social media posts and content and communicate this with the broader team
  • Seek out curated content and collaborate with internal subject matter experts and other marketing team members to ensure social media content is developed and delivered as per the calendar.
  • Evaluate & optimize the performance of all social media campaigns, with weekly or monthly reporting and performance recommendations.
  • Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the company website; track conversion rates and make improvements to the website.
  • Manage social media budget and at times coordinate paid social media advertisements

Essential:

  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, communication or related field with particular focus on online marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field
  • Experience of uploading and editing content primarily across Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube & Instagram
  • Demonstrated experience of successful engagement with social media followers
  • Demonstrated experience of designing and implementing strategies to drive online traffic to organisations’ websites, promotions and campaigns
  • Strong organisation and time management skills, able to work autonomously, planning and organising
  • Experience in the community services and health care sector is advantage
