Everyone loves a hot cooked meal and our elderly clients are certainly no different. Help brighten someones day by assisting the Kitchen Coordinator in our Hillcrest respite centre by preparing and cooking healthy meals for clients.

You will be exposed to all kitchen duties including prepping meals by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, cooking meals, checking ingredients for freshness and ensuring that the kitchen and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained.

You will need to complete the Logan City Food Safety Course "I'm Alert" online, which can be done at the respite centre. This will only take approximately 1.5 hours.

Previous experience in a kitchen is requested for this position.
