opportunities to contribute:

-gardening - the garden is well kept but needs a little bit of love and care, such as weeding, lawn mowing, pruning, etc.

-grounds management - the property has a number of repairs that can be performed with no effort, but with the time and will of a handy volunteers.

-house welcome - the house is open for visits. while we have a warden on site, he is not always available. in those occasions we need persons willing ot welcome the guests and show the house explaining the history and relevance of the site.

-guided tours - there are a number of guided visits scheduled for groups. among those there are school groups and seniors groups. most of them have their own teachers and monitors, but in any case, we would like to give them a good service by having a volunteer explaining the history and importance of this historic homestead.
