Citizen Advocacy is a small, community based not for profit organisation that assists people with disabilities who may be lonely, isolated, vulnerable or at risk by finding them a volunteer community member who is willing to be a part of their life and help them be less lonely, vulnerable or at risk. The Citizen Advocacy office has a small number of professional staff to facilitate the establishment and ongoing support of these relationships. These staff are guided by a voluntary Board of Management whose role is crucial to the Program's success. The Board provides management, accountability to funders and the community, and ensures that the office and the Program continue to function well.
