The VIP Cart gives the volunteer the opportunity to bring a smile and conversation to patients while they are in hospital.

As the volunteer deals with patients please be aware of privacy and individual needs of patients.

With the acceptance of the volunteer after an interview, Orientation Training is undertaken. Within this training is a COVID awareness section. Hand Hygiene is a priority within the hospital.

Working With Vulnerable People Card is essential. A Police Check will be undertaken once the applicant is successful.

Ability to work with staff and other volunteers.

Ability to demonstrate a caring and supporting attitude. Please be aware that this role is available at Calvary John James in Deakin as well as Bruce Private Hospital.
