This vibrant community organisation is looking for an individual who can assist once or twice a month in gardening activities at the community garden that caters to locals and different faith and cultural groups. Knowledge of food plants is important as well as a desire to engage with the many different groups that make up the municipality. It is hoped that the successful applicant is keen on educating others on different food plants in terms of their uses in cooking, and optimal growing and harvesting conditions.
It is expected that role this would involve a few hours a week and at least a few hours on one weekend day a month. Minimum age 18 years.
