Are you interested in our early transport history? Would you like to learn more about it, whilst sharing it with others? The Queensland Transport Museum is open 7 days a week and caters for tour groups and individuals wanting to immerse themselves in our transport history. The displays change seasonally and range from display cases filled with a huge range of models to retired and working rigs. We are seeking volunteers for an interactive role as tour guide.

Skills required: Excellent verbal communication, presentable and cleanliness, knowledge of the transport industry (especially trucks).

Volunteer characteristics: Outgoing and friendly manner, understand and appreciate heritage. Neat and tidy.

Skills gained: Confidence in dealing with public, knowledge of transport industry.
