Sometimes it is the little things, like having somewhere clean and comfortable to stay near the Queensland Children's Hospital, can make a difference for families going through the stress of having a child undergoing cancer treatment.

We therefore require the services of volunteers for the following duties:

• Stripping and making up beds, in our short term rooms, to get bedding ready for the next oncology family and to ensure that the room looks inviting and presentable for the new family.
• Washing and folding bed linen including sheets, pillow cases and towels in preparation for the next family. Full laundry facilities available on site plus clothes lines and a dryer for wet weather days.

We have professional cleaners that come in and do the cleaning, so no cleaning will be required.
