Role: Maintaining current gardens, including mowing, whipper-snipping, and pruning. To help add a peaceful ambiance to the Museum grounds. Also available to help with woodwork, props, painting etc. Days and times are flexible.

Skills required: Understanding and love of gardening . Provide help with planning for projects for the garden (roses/herbs/vegies/medieval/aromatic plants).

Volunteer characteristics: Self starter with good communication skills. Planning and thinking skills Dedication and commitment to getting the job done. Love of beautiful things and creating such.

Experience gained: Social skills. Wide variety of gardening experience. Satisfaction in creating useful and much enjoyed gardens. Involvement with the museum team overall. Flexible hours can be arranged depending on your other commitments.
