Maintenance Conservation Environment
Friends of Bellarine Rail Trail IncVolunteers are needed to assist with maintaining the BRT reserve. (Bellarine Rail Trail, from Geelong Showgrounds to Drysdale Station). Activities include re-vegetating, propagating new seedlings, preparing sites, planting seedlings, watering, spreading mulch, pruning and ongoing weeding.
Weekly working bees are:
- on Tuesday mornings at the community nursery in South Geelong, propagating new plants and seedlings;
- on Wednesday mornings maintaining the BRT reserve through revegetating and watering of plants, spreading mulch and weeding along the trail.
Volunteering days and hours are optional / flexible and can be discussed with the Agency.
