Ronald McDonald House Charities North AustraliaAs a member of our 'People Posse' you will be valuable and vital to our team as you will be the first person that many of our families, volunteers, donors and visitors will meet, and therefore this role requires a cheerful and compassionate person who will provide a warm and friendly welcome. This role will also contribute to the efficient running of our administration requirements by completing ad hoc administration tasks.
The key duties of this role includes:
- Welcoming families and visitors to the House
- Assisting families with any queries during their stay
- Answering the phone and fielding general enquiries eg. Local directions, local facilities
- Signing in/out visitors, notifying staff members of visitors and conducting House Tours as required.
- Accepting donations and handling of monies
- Support staff to complete adhoc administrative tasks
- Take Transport bookings
What skills and characteristics are needed?
- A friendly, compassionate and empathetic disposition
- Positive attitude
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Basic Computer Skills
We have the following hours available, and request a commitment of one shift a week: Monday to Friday: 9.00AM – 12.00PM or 1.00PM – 5.00PM
