Narryna is a Georgian style house built in 1836 as a house for a merchant.
We are currently planning an upgrade to one that reflects the original Narryna garden. At present considerable work is needed, but there are plans afoot to invigorate the front garden to a formal, seasonal flower garden including around the fountain, and to create a large, productive Kitchen garden out the back. This will include creating a compost and some ground works to get it established and working. The Markree garden is a delight but requires regular maintenance to be at its best. It includes a number of named roses, fruit trees and a beautiful water feature. We hope to propagate plants from both Narryna and Markree gardens to boost our income.
