As a Playgroup volunteer you will be required to be available on one of the following shifts:

Tuesdays 9.30am - 12.30pm

*Please note that we will require you to be available on your chosen day of the week on an ongoing basis, but that your assistance will not be required during school holidays.

Tasks include:

•Setting up tables and chairs, toys, sandpit and play equipment before participants arrive •Supervising indoor and outdoor activity areas with regards to hygiene, OH&S and safety •Facilitating positive and friendly communication with parents and children during the session •Communicating with parents and children, RSNH staff, Playgroup Coordinator and other volunteers during the session •Adhering to RSNH policy and procedure regarding child safety

Please note, this is not childcare. The parents of the toddlers/children are always present during playgroup. Experience is useful, but not a necessity.
