  • Requirements

    A warm, friendly and sincere person who can encourage visitors to visit attractions and consider staying in the region. Be enthusiastic and participate in all tasks as requested. Take pride in display areas and replace brochures and merchandise as needed. Wear and care for uniform. A willingness to undertake training and induction programs. A desire and willingness to learn more about the local, regional and state tourism industry.

The position will involve welcoming visitors to the Visitor Information Centre Victor Harbor. Assist walk-in visitors with information and pamphlets 're Victor Harbor and surrounding areas attractions. Process merchandise as items are sold. Answer telephone and assist with all enquiries. Once volunteer is familiar with the Information Centre they may be trained in other tasks eg booking accommodation or tours.
