The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Vision Australia.

We're seeking Volunteer Drivers to accompany blind or low vision clients to a Dinner Group on the first Monday of each month or the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Our Dinner groups meet at local clubs, hotels and restaurants in and around the northern suburbs and south-eastern suburbs. You role will make a significant contribution to the lives of our clients.

Key tasks or skills:

• You would pick up the client by 5.30pm and drive to the dinner venue, sit with them and assist where required then make sure they are safely home by 9pm.
