Wesley Mission Queensland's Youngcare Share House at Wooloowin are currently seeking people interested in volunteering with our team to make a difference to the lives of our wonderful residents who are young adults living with high care needs.

Opportunities exist for people interested in volunteering alongside staff in daily programs, activities and outings; and for people interested in visiting and becoming friends with individuals or small groups of residents on a regular basis. We would also love to hear from you if you have a special talent or interest that you would like to share with the residents during their leisure and social activities.

You don't need experience to be part of our team – enthusiasm, cheerfulness, patience and understanding are just as important. In return we would like to offer you a rewarding and enjoyable opportunity to make a difference to the lives of others, meet people and learn some new skills!

Students looking for experience are also welcome to express an interest with us. The position would be an ideal for Psychology, Social Work, Social Science, Humanities, Music Therapy, Allied Health students or anyone with an interest in gaining experience in the community services field.
