K9 SAR Inc. is a not-for-profit volunteer organization that provides trained personnel and dogs to emergency service and police agencies to assist in finding lost or missing individuals. The team specializes in search operations in wilderness, wooded, semi-urban and urban settings.

The Fundraising/Grants Coordinator is responsible for researching and writing grants and funding applications for the K9 SAR Inc and developing fundraising initiatives to raise important funds to support the unit's activities.

The ideal candidate will posses experience in grant writing or fundraising and have a passion for emergency services and be motivated to contribute to the preservation of human life. At least a 1 year commitment to the cause is required. This is an essential role in the ongoing viability of our very important service.

All K9 SAR Inc. personnel are volunteers and are not paid for their work, training or support of their dogs. There is no charge for their services in locating missing persons.
