We are a community-based organisation caring for the people of the Byron, Ballina and Lismore shires. We are looking for volunteers in our Centre. Byron Shire Respite Service is the Shire’s leader in aged respite care and specialises in dementia care. Experience in Care Work, Entertainment & Hospitality would be great, but certainly not needed. Mainly based in the Brunswick community centre. Many roles including activities with people at the centre, assisting workers on outings and bus trips, taking people to appointments. Will take those wishing to volunteer short term minimum 6 months commitment and longer. · Kitchen assistant 3hr shift. · 3 hour shifts. 9:30 - 12:30 or 12:30 _ 3:30pm
