Reynard Street Neighbourhood HouseAssisting members of the community to undertake art and craft activities whilst socialising and feeling included is an important aspect of this volunteer role. Experience in the following areas is useful but not a necessity: drawing, hand sewing, weaving, collage, painting and card making for seasonal holidays. Some participants will simply want to have a cup of tea or coffee and chat
A typical volunteer shift will usually include:
-arriving at 10:30 am and retrieving art and craft supplies from storage cupboard -setting up a table and greeting community members who drop in to try craft activities. -assisting participants with their creations -at 12:20 pm, packing up craft supplies, washing paint brushes and wiping down table in preparation for community lunch to be served -Communicating access and inclusion requirements with RSNH staff -12:30 pm joining in the community lunch if you would like
All RSNH volunteers are required to have a Working With Children Check
