Volunteer training to provide practice in guiding and communicating with deafblind people and learn more about deafblindness.

Bus driver required to drive a small 10-12 seater bus ( automatic car licence is sufficient) for monthly outing for group of deaf/blind people. Bus is located at Baulkham Hills and outings could be anywhere in the metropolitan area. This outing takes place on the last Saturday of the month. This is a fun group of people, who enjoy these monthly outings. There is no funding for this group, but these outings have helped to relieve the isolation of this unique most isolating of all disabilities, deafblindness (combined vision and hearing impairment).
Minimum age is 25 years. A knowledge of Auslan or fingerspelling would be an advantage. Good driving record is essential.
