Small Steps is a program that supports young mums and their infants who permanently reside on Hobart City Mission premises in independent living units. Small Steps aims to provide safe and stable accommodation as well as opportunities to gain life skills and parenting support. Residents are able to stay for up to two years with support to transition into the community being provided. Volunteers are needed on site to help with child minding while the mum is involved in various on site programs.
