Bicycle SA's Event Village Logistics - 'Dirty Weekend'

The 'Dirty Weekend' is a 24 hour off road competitive cycling event being held 24 and 25 April 2021 at Cudlee Creek, 392 Croft Rd, Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills.

If you are a volunteer who is organised, able to take direction as required, enjoy working outdoors, and able to manage with a variety of tasks then we would like you to join Bicycle SA's Event Village Logistics team at Cudlee Creek from Friday 23 April to Sunday 25 April 2021 inclusive.

Your role will be to assist the Event Manager set up the Event Village, which includes 'pop up' marquees, lighting, showers, marking off designated areas with bunting, safety fencing, and signage.

If you have never experienced a 24 hour racing event then there will be time to watch before assisting with the packing up which starts at 2.00 pm on Sunday.

Dormitory style accommodation is available at the Thomas Hill Education Centre. Please bring your own sleeping bag and warm clothing as it is chilly in the mornings and evenings.

Familiarise yourself with the most up-to-date requirements and advice from the Australian and NT and SA State Governments. * As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance). * Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
