Lifelink Samaritans is a caring crisis helpline service, totally volunteer run, for those in need of emotional support.

Individuals may phone a Telephone Befriender in times of loneliness, depression, confusion, homelessness, despair, relationship issues and more.

Current volunteers love being part of the program because they gain valuable work and life experience, they make a difference in people's lives and assist in building community resilience.

There are no special skills needed, other than the right attitude and a willingness to commit to the program. Volunteer Befrienders will undergo training, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge (there is a fee attached to the course).
