Gardening Volunteer

    we do expect all volunteers to commit to a 6 hour shift per fortnight.
    Native ARC is surrounded by bushland and all volunteers will come into contact with animals at some stage. For these reasons, long pants and closed in shoes are a requirement for every shift. Uniforms are provided to all volunteers who have completed over 35 hours of volunteer work at the centre.

Gardening volunteers may volunteer weekly or fortnightly for a 2 to 4 hour shift. Volunteers will work intermittently and are responsible for some or all of the following tasks:

Weeding.
Mulching.
Pruning.
Planting.
Maintaining acquaponic systems and filtration.
Watering plants.
