Wildlife Vet

Native Animal Rescue

A compassionate vet is required to help look after our native animals to ensure they remain in the best of health.

Your role will be varied and consists of:

Detailed animal assessments
Examining sick or injured animals
Performing diagnostic tests
Giving advice about animal health and care
Providing medical care to our fur friends!

Training

Inductions take place every fortnight, followed by a training session (usually held on Saturdays)

Time required

4 hours per week

Requirements

•Passionate about the health and welfare of animals •Good communication skills •Tertiary qualifications in Veterinary Science •Driver's License Please note that in order to volunteer at Native Animal Rescue, you will be required to become an annual member at a small fee: - $25 Single membership - $15 Pensioner Family - $10 Single Pensioner
