Volunteer tutors are invited to participate in a comprehensive training course. They are then matched with a student who they meet with once once a week for about an hour and a half. All meetings are in a neutral/public venue. Support and ongoing professional development is offered through a local group and the Central Office. Police Check is compulsory, paid for by Read Write Now.
