Animal Attendant

    Requirements: No particular skills needed as we offer on-the-job training
    A weekly commitment of at least four and a half hours
    16 years old minimum
    Attended a Volunteer information session
    Complete a Volunteer application and DBCA Volunteer Registration form
    Kanyana membership paid
    Recommended: updated tetanus injection

Animal attendants are sought to assist with care of wildlife at the centre. Assistance is required to prepare food, feed patients and resident animals, clean cages, aviaries, enclosures and hospital hotboxes, help with laundry, general cleaning and any other jobs as required. Commitment is one regular shift per week of 4.5 hours.
