Volunteer transport operates Monday to Friday from approx. 8.45 am - 4 pm using Launceston VFC vehicles. Transport is provided in the local Launceston area to clients who would otherwise have difficulty getting around. Drivers must be able to work off a runsheet, receipt client fees, take direction from office staff, assist with mobility aids and if required assist to carry clients groceries and other items into the car and their home. Volunteers are provided with an induction, buddy shifts with an existing driver and ongoing support from our team.
