An organisation supporting the needy in our community require volunteers to assist with its Sunday canteen. The Canteen runs on Sundays from 12pm to 3pm and provides a free meal. You can assist in the Canteen setting and packing up, serving meals and cleaning. You can also assist by preparing meals for the Canteen in your own home on Friday or Saturday, all ingredients are provided, a driver picking up bread for the Canteen on a Friday and/or Saturday at 5:15pm or a produce manager sorting groceries on Fridays from 10am to 11:30am. Training is provided where necessary. Volunteers aged under 15, secondary school students, families and volunteers with limited English are welcome to apply. Short term and out of business hours volunteering roles are available. Police Check and Working With Children Check required. Car license required for driving roles.
