We are looking for Childcare Volunteers to assist our employed Women In Work Childcare Worker to provide childcare to children aged 3 months-5 years as part of the WCC Arabic Speaking Women’s Group Thursdays from 10am to 1pm. The Childcare Volunteer works alongside the Childcare Worker to provide a creative safe play environment that enables children to reach their full potential.

The volunteer will be:

• Meeting with the Childcare Worker to set up the room and plan the activities for the session
• Supporting the Childcare Worker to register and sign in children in attendance
• Supporting the Childcare Worker to supervise the activities of children during the session.
• Supervising the children if the Childcare Worker needs to leave the room
• Participating in all play activities with the children
• Reporting incidents and emergencies to the Childcare Worker immediately
• Supporting the Childcare Worker to create and manage a safe, clean and healthy
