Our client is a well respected not-for-profit, established in 1967 for people with deafblindness and Rubella. The organisation has since expanded across several states and offer a range of programs and community transport.

The Jimboomba team have a rare opportunity for a Emergency Relief Volunteer to join the team and assist individuals experiencing financial distress and/or lack of adequate food.

About the role: The overall aim of the Emergency Relief Worker is to assist and work with the Emergency Relief team. This includes supporting participants and encouraging financial well-being, leading to a more secure and sustainable lifestyle that reflects their goals.

Your role would include assisting with the preparation of making food parcels which are provided by this organisation and on occasion, referring on people to the financial team as required. General administration and other duties as required.

Please note, the position is available one day (Monday) per week, 8.30am - 4.pm.
