A volunteer Homework Club Tutor is required by a north Gold Coast (not-for-profit) multicultural support organization to assist migrant/refugee primary/ high school aged children with their homework. Volunteers interested in applying for this position will require the necessary educational, training and mentoring skills/experience, be patient and also empathetic towards children attempting to integrate into their new surroundings. The Homework Club operates 1 day per week, between 3pm and 5pm on Mondays (Primary) and Tuesdays (High School). A Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is required.(no cost to applicant).
