Riding for the Disabled requires volunteers who will enjoy the experience of developing relationships with the horses and aid our clients learning riding techniques to improve confidence and agility of people with special needs. On riding days, assist with grooming, walking and leading horses, sometimes with a rider on his or her back. Assist in the arena especially building a bond with the horses. There is no need for experience with horses as comprehensive and extensive training is given, although we also very much welcome experience horse people.
