We are currently looking for volunteers to walk our clients dogs for approximately 1 hour on a weekly basis.

By volunteering to help walk a pet you are ensuring that our clients four legged friends have an opportunity to get outdoors and stay active and you are ensuring our clients get to keep their beloved pets.

Inner West Neighbour Aid is a not for profit organisation providing practical and social support to frail older people, people with disabilities and their carers in the Inner West. We connect people who are passionate about helping others with people who need support to live safely and independently at home and remain active in our community.

Essential Criteria • Commitment to working with the frail aged and people with a disability • Good communication skills • Ability to travel to various locations around Sydney’s Inner West • Reliable and dedicated • Experience with handling pets • Able to commit to minimum weekly visits/walks

Desirable Criteria • Own transport • Sensitivity to issues relating to people who speak a language other than English • Living or working within the Inner West
