You would also develop skills in assisting clients who may have mobility impairment or a sight hearing impairment, but most importantly having a friendly chat and socializing with the clients. Most Outings run from approximately 9.30am – 3.30pm / 4.00pm on weekdays. If you enjoy visiting the sights and scenes of Sydney, this could be the right role for you. Our outings include going to the Fish Markets, Nurseries, Local Clubs and various special events that come up through the year such as Museums and Art Galleries.

Essential Criteria

• Enjoys spending time with older people
• Good communication skills
• Able to commit to weekly, fortnightly or monthly volunteering for a least 1 year
• Willingness to attend training
• Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check
