Be prepared to undertake a Crisis Supporter Workplace training course delivered by Lifeline WA on behalf of Lifeline Australia RTO 88036. At the conclusion of the course be proficient in the skills and knowledge required to become active volunteer Crisis Supporter.

Lifeline WA is looking for dedicate and highly motivated individuals to join our 13 11 14 Crisis Support Services to answer calls when the community needs us the most. Candidates will be committed to the delivery of quality telephone crisis support to our help seekers. Our service is located in Perth and we are leading providers of crisis support services to Australians in need.
Due to the involved and comprehensive nature of this nationally recognised training, you must be available to attend training sessions at the WA center over 3 months for face to face learning and a total of 12 months of blended training. This training will ensure you are equipped with the skills required to provide high a high quality service. The training will include:
• Regular group clinical supervision • Individual supervision sessions • Professional development. • Crisis Supporter Workplace Training

No specific qualifications or experience are required.
Skills required: • Basic computer competencies (internet, email, data entry, navigation). • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

• Paying a contribution to the cost of the national recognised training • Undertaking the National Crisis Supporter Workplace Training delivered in a combination of e-learning and face-to-face modes • A cleared National Criminal Record Check (NCRC) prior to the confirmation of student entry and bi-annually during engagement with Lifeline in any Crisis Support capacity. • Must be over 18 years of age at the time of application. • Must be an Australian resident. • To abide by Lifeline WA Code of Conduct at all times • Working with Children check
