Community Visitor - Connecting Virtually - FaceTime, Skyp or Phone or letters
Latrobe Community Health/Link Health and CommunityCommunity Visitors are needed to contact socially isolated residents in Aged Care Facilities located in Burwood, Vermont, Wheelers Hill, Ringwood North, Oakleigh and Glen Waverley.
- Contacts can be virtual, by phone or by putting pen to paper weekly.
- We need people over 18 years of age who love to chat, are patient and enjoy the company of older people.
- While you are self-isolating you can improve a lonely resident’s well- being and reduce their social isolation.
Post COVID-19 Face to Face visits may resume 2 to 4 times per month
