Are you a keen knitter or would like to improve your knitting ability? Would you like to join with other crafty people and make a difference to others in the community?

A knitting group in the Liverpool area is looking for willing volunteers to join with them in making items for local charitable organisations. Currently these precious items are being passed on to families with premature or sick babies or to those who are being treated for breast cancer.

What a wonderful way for local people to come together, sit, knit and have a good natter. Being a knitting volunteer will not only enrich your life but more importantly aims to brighten the lives of others who are going through difficult circumstances, by gifting them with these beautiful handmade garments.

The group runs between 10am and 12 noon, and will meet each Thursday morning during school terms. Participants can work on their own or community projects and beginners, experienced knitters and gentleman are all welcome!

If you would like to be involved, we would love to hear from you.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
