Make a positive difference to someone's day, feel valued and appreciated by patients, relatives and staff alike.

Volunteers offer practical help to patients on the Aged Care wards by working with them to understand the 'here and now', decrease boredom by providing good conversation and mental stimulation, assist with eating, drinking and walking, watching for 'risky' behaviour to prevent falls. You will hear some amazing stories along the way!

ReViVe is a well established program that supports volunteers to learn new skills in supportive communication and providing practical assistance to patients. You can initiate/ build on volunteering experience/ skills and expand your circle of contacts and acquaintances and also learn about the hospital environment.
