A Day Centre providing social activities and and contact for older people who have intellectual, physical and psychiatric disabilities requires volunteers. Activities undertaken by program attendees include outings, cooking, pot plant gardening, simple wood and furniture decoration, music, bingo, games and quizzes. Volunteers who can play a musical instrument are much in demand and sessions are held Tuesday to Friday. Volunteers can also accompany bus drivers on outings and are needed for community engagement programs including movie group and other non centre based programs. Police Checks organised. Volunteers 15 years and older may apply.
