Telelink- Telephone Conference Facilitator

Telelink is a regular on going telephone based group program that is delivered via teleconference. It provides social and peer support, special interest and recreation activities.

We have positions available for volunteers to facilitate discussion groups via telephone in the following topics:

  • Greek Social- weekly Monday 10:15am
  • Greek Social- weekly Monday 4pm
  • Dog Guide Support- first Monday of Month 8pm
  • Diabetes Support & Information- on last Monday of month 8pm
  • Social- weekly Tuesday 9:15am
  • Men’s Social-  weekly Tuesday 10am
  • Spanish Social- weekly Tuesday 10:30am
  • Music- first and third Tuesday of Month 3pm
  • Polish Social- fortnightly Wednesday 3pm
  • Mandarin Social- second Thursday of month 10am
  • Greek Social-  weekly Thursday 10am
  • Parenting Support- third Friday of month 1:45pm

Skills and Requirements

•Clear speaking voice

•High level of interpersonal skills

•Excellent listening and conversation skills

•High level of relevant language other than English for relevant Telelinks

•Ability to encourage, support and keep participants on topic

•Ability to work independently

•Landline or mobile connection
