If you are between the ages of 12 and 16 you could train with a Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade as a cadet. You will not go to emergency fires, but can be involved in other brigade activities that could lead to a Volunteer Bush Fire fighter progression, or assist with a fire fighter career based upon knowledge and understanding of fire environments. East Swan Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade is happy to assist youth activities within the Brigade to provide skills and tuition in fire prevention and fire fighting.
